Taffix is a scientifically proven nasal powder spray device that was developed to protect against allergens and viruses within the nasal cavity.

Taffix is indicated for use as a protective mechanical and chemical barrier against allergens and viruses.

The spray device provides 5 hours of protection with every use and works by lowering the nasal cavity’s pH from 6.5 (where viruses thrive) to 3.5, where they are blocked.

It has been proven to block up to 97% of airborne viruses, including the common flu and other respiratory viruses in the nasal cavity, where most viruses are known to enter the body.

According to Barbara Mann, Ph.D. as Associate Professor of medicine specializing in infectious diseases and international health at the University of Virginia, “Taffix was proven to effectively reduce the amount of live virus. This innovative approach could provide a valuable protective measure that would help reduce the spread of the virus and complement worldwide efforts to find a drug or a vaccine”.

It is important to remember that Taffix should be used in addition to donning a mask and wearing gloves. As Taffix is not a drug and does not cause drowsiness, there are no contraindications or major side effects but please do not use this product if you are sensitive to cellulose, citric acid or Benzalkonium chloride and avoid contact with open wounds and eyes. If powder gets into your eye, rinse with water. Consult with your physician before using Taffix for children below age 12 or pregnant or breast-feeding women and read the insert in the box carefully before you start using Taffix.
